About WebJavenuePublished: Jan 17, 2006 WebJavenue is a personal website maintained by Bruno Boehr. It has a relatively narrow focus and deals primarily with the subject of making websites in Java rather than J2EE development in general. WebJavenue was launched in February, 2006 out of frustration with existing Java web development resources. While there are plenty of materials that cover the use of Java in enterprise applications, the needs of individual webmasters who made Java their language of choice get far less attention from the industry than they deserve. To fill this gap, WebJavenue tries to make the point that creating websites in Java is not really all that difficult, provided that you know how to do it and are equipped with the right methodology and tools. In proving this statement WebJavenue has brought about a sample web application complemented by an online tutorial that provides a comprehensive account of its making, explaining the rationale behind its most critical design decisions. For more information about the driving forces and motives behind this project, its goals, accomplishments and vision please refer to the navigation bar on the left. Last edited: Feb 06, 2006 |
